Opening To The Sacred Within
The Sacred Sisterhood Support Circle is a heart-centered gathering designed to bring women together in a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental space to connect, heal, and grow, both individually and collectively. It’s not a religious group or tied to any single belief system; rather, it honors the many paths that women walk in their journeys toward self-discovery and wholeness.
At its core, the Circle is about remembrance - remembering the ancient medicine of women coming together. Before modern therapy, before organized religion, there were circles: women sharing stories by firelight, offering compassion, holding space for one another’s struggles, grief, joy, and transformation. The Sacred Sisterhood rekindles that timeless practice.
Each gathering often includes elements such as:
-
Grounding, to help participants arrive fully in the present moment.
-
Guided meditation or breathwork, to quiet the mind and open the heart.
-
Sharing circle, where each woman can speak her truth without interruption or judgment.
-
Closing and dinner, Throughout the winter we will have hearty comfort foods. Please note that food is NOT vegan, gluten-free or adherent with any other dietary restrictions.
The Circle is meant to remind every participant that she is not alone. That her story matters, her emotions are sacred, and her healing ripples outward to all women. It’s a place to laugh, cry, release, recharge, and remember the power of feminine connection.
Many gatherings include potlucks or shared meals, extending that sense of community through food and conversation. While the format may shift depending on the needs of the group or focus of the facilitator, the intention remains constant: to honor the divine feminine strength in all of us.
Where We Meet:
Be aware that in the summer months we meet in a traditional fire circle (outdoors around the campfire), and in the winter months we meet in a heated lodge (large tipi like structure), see the picture. It is warm dry and comfortable. If the weather is too cold ❄ or windy we will cancel or move to another location for the week. If you have questions about whether we will be meeting, where we will be meeting, or any other conditions please contact us.
